Task
To help organise and supervise the tendering process for new bi-articulated trolley buses, because the existing fleet vehicles should be replaced and their respective lines expanded. The new, bi-articulated buses needed to be integrated into the existing network of Linz Linien as effectively as possible. In addition, maintenance contracts for the new vehicles had to be developed and tendered for.
Solution
- Analysis of legal regulations, and obtainment of a special permission for bi-articulated buses
- Analysis of available vehicles and E-Suppliers
- Preparation of an Invitation to Tender and contract formation
Outcome
- Assistance in opposing an appeal against the contract award decision
- Formation of supply and maintenance contracts as planned
